The picture (Click on it for a larger version) above is the ad that came in TOI. What struck me was the poem. It is so lovely. I’m OCRing it here, for better reading:

I hear the sunrise.
A call for prayer. I hear Nirvana.
I hear the morning bells. Temple bells. Cow bells.
The loud cans of milkman.
I hear knocking. I hear the Doors.
I hear a beautiful day. The Byrds. The Beatles.
The squeals of happy children.
I hear Rolling Stones. On the surface of a pond.
I hear the Village People.
The Pounding of rice. The Bangles. Spice Girls.
I hear the songs of a farmer.
The sound of heavy metal on a paddy field.
I hear Men At Work. The Carpenters.
Woodstock. Nine Inch Nails.
There is so much to hear on WorldSpace.

There is also a signature tune released to mark the event. I’ll certainly get a receiver of them, in the years to come.

Seen that ad before. Good one. Worldspace is spending a lot on its brand building, dunno whether that market is matured or not?
