GTD

Iam implementing a GTD system based on MonkeyPirateTiddlyWiki. These GTD wikis are very responsive than the GMail interface. The Remainders Macro is awesome.
GTD is a process that defines the way we do things. Its a measure towards improving personal productivity. We do lot of things than our parents did, isn’t it? We ought to monitor Credit-card expenses, track our Stocks, plan our investments, socialize with friends, plan trips, manage the boss, call-up Insurance guys, etc, etc… We need to do something to streamline such activites and operate trouble-free.
Notes on GTD is here.
I’ll write about the progress and outcomes later.

Great job!
Can you integrate it with some kind of online calender? ( Preferably write a calender yourself or use an open source calender along with your GTD wiki). That way your system has support for reminders which I find it indispensible.
I am beginning to use GMail as my GTD planner. But it has no way of reminding me stuff!

I don’t think that we can integrate an online Calendar.
But , there is a remainder macro built with “MonkeyPirateTiddlyWiki(main page)”:http://homes.jcu.edu.au/~ccscb/mptw/
Look at “http://homes.jcu.edu.au/~ccscb/mptw/#%5B%5BShow%20Reminders%20Test%5D%5D”:http://homes.jcu.edu.au/~ccscb/mptw/#%5B%5BShow%20Reminders%20Test%5D%5D
I think this would be sufficient.
The problem here, is if u r using the GTD system at both home and office. U need to sync the wikis.

Super Cool!
Is this your hobby project or your work project?
I hope Google buys/writes one of these tiddlywiki’s and integrates it with GMail. So everytime a significant date approaches it GMails you.

Hey Kr!sh no no. Iam not re-writing any wiki. But trying to use it to my needs.
Remainders thro’ (g)Email? Nice thought. And Google DeskBar will alert u of that remainder. Or gTalk can give an IM from gRemainder (provided there is support for offline messages). Sounds cool.

If you are changing the Wiki Code, release it for review. Put it in public. U’ll get lot of support. Or send it to me by email, I’ll try to look into it. BTW, MonkeyPirateTiddlyWiki is good and serves the purpose.
