For the past whole week, I have been staring at the Matchmaker teasers found on the Rediff’s homepage. Yeap! I’m talking about the “Featured Users” section to your left side of that page.
Two things that struck me:
All featured profiles that find a place on the front are of girls’. Why not of guys’? Shouldn’t Rediff be an equal opportunity matchmaker?
Every profile (of course a girle one) that comes up to the front is enhanced. I would believe that it is centred around the face region & nowhere else. Its to spice it up with a gleaming fairness. Do verify my claims with the pic above. All wannabe grooms, technology is right & ready to fool you.

Importing this blog from Wordpress.com to my personal space isn’t very clean. The names of the commenter’s doesn’t show-up! Any idea why?

Update #0: Would be good if ELCOT could provide mirror sites (India specific) for projects hosted at SourceForge. Or mirrors for Ubuntu, may be.
Update #1: Guys, ELCOT is using SUSE Enterprise Edition.
“With SUSE Linux Enterprise, we no longer have any worries about viruses. This aspect of security used to be a real concern because we know of other e-government systems, which have collapsed because of malicious attacks.” more.
