I’m thinking of changing from MovableType to Blogger because of the recent changes in both these software programs. Good to see the New Blogger and its templates. On the otherhand, MovableType went for its Version 3 which is no longer free even for personal use. I’m not comfortable anymore in using something which was free before and asks for a price now. Moreover its a nice feeling to use a Google product. Like to be a part of the gang who practices success. I have already moved all my posts to http://screamcast.blogspot.com Due to this immigration, I have lost all your valuable comments (not many) on my posts. Hope you have no problems on this. Expecting you to gimme lot of feedback. I cannot categorize my posts. (Blogger doesn’t support categories in posts)
I forgot to welcome you all. There is a party going on at this address http://screamcast.blogspot.com Do sneak in and participate.

Yahoo says, “Together with Distinct, we were able to offer our users an ideal solution enabling them to connect to Yahoo! Pager, and to communicate both quickly and reliably”.
If u see ‘About Yahoo Messenger’ from the Help menu of Yahoo Messenger 6 program, you will be surprised to notice that it mentions a third party solution provider, Distinct Corporation. Distinct has helped Yahoo with its Socks Firewall library. This library helps users (mainly corporate people) to communicate to Yahoo messenger/chat servers even if they are behind their company firewalls. Bypass Protocols??? Coool!! Won’t the firewall companies do some work-arounds for that?

Dayanidhi Maran, Union Minister for Communications & IT of India, dreams to make India a ‘great IT nation’.
Here’s his 10-point plan:

2. Bring about transparency in administration.
3. Broadband connectivity.
4. Next generation mobile wireless technologies.
5. National Internet Exchange and Indian Domain Name.
6. Migrate to new Internet Protocol IPv6.

10. Outsourcing skilled manpower and R&D thrust.
LOOk at 6 & 7, I wonder how a minister can think in such technical terms. Let him do some good work.
